The epidemic caused by the coronavirus (Covid 19) continues to spread worldwide and today counts a significant number of cases in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Protecting the health of our employees, as well as the employees of our clients, is a priority to Labgroup. As so, we want to proactively share the measures we take to guarantee the smooth running of the services we offer while protecting all employees to a maximum during this challenging period.
Following an internal investigation in which all of our employees participated, we can now confirm that no case of the coronavirus (Covid 19) has been detected at Labgroup and none of our employees is currently under quarantine following the contact with an infected person. This survey will be repeated regularly.
As a preventive measure, our services will be temporarily impacted as follows:
IT services:
In line with our BCP (“business continuity plan”), we have implemented a freeze on all significant changes to our infrastructure. To the extent of available capacity, we can, of course, continue to accommodate any growth in your needs. Our technicians will also continue to serve you, using remote access tools.
Document and media services:
Protecting the health of Labgroup employees, as well as that of our clients’ employees, is a priority for our company.
At this stage, we wish to inform clients, benefiting from the services which require a physical presence of our operators within your company, namely:
- delivery of archives,
- recurrent secure destruction of “bin container”,
- recurring media delivery,
- scanning,
that as of today, March 16, 2020 at 11:59 p.m., we plan to suspend our services for 24 hours to allow our clients to position themselves on their choice:
- to continue the suspension of service in the interest of the safety and health of all personnel OR
- to provide the services as provided for in the contract.
Please inform us formally, by the return of an e-mail to our Service Desk (servicedesk@labgroup.com), by an authorised person from your company, about your decision. Clients positioning themselves now will not fall in the case of the suspension of services.
In the absence of a clear position on your part, after the 24-hour moratorium, we will interpret the situation in the most responsible manner, and the services will be suspended until further notice on your part.
We remain, of course, at your disposal to adapt our services to your wishes.
However, we continue to study the various possible scenarios to ensure to evaluate all the potential challenges before they become problems.
As a precaution, Labgroup authorises its employees, whose department does not require a physical presence at the workplace, to work remotely from next week while respecting our commitments regarding information security.
Other operational precautions:
Restriction of all travel by Labgroup staff until further notice.
Postponement of internal and external meetings, while promoting conference calls/video.
