EcoFont – a new eco-friendly font for printing
As part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy, Labgroup has decided to deploy a new eco-friendly font.
Printing a document consumes not only paper but also ink. The “Ecofont Vera Sans” offers an original idea for saving up to 30% ink!
This font is not “full” and contains circular holes (inside the letters). The holes are tiny, so they do not interfere with the readability of a document when printing or reading. This “tip” saves up to 30% ink per page. In addition, the font is based on the open-source font Vera Sans, and its use is free.
The Labgroup’s IT department has installed the new font on Labgroup’s workstations. Labgroup is proud to have taken a step further, in accordance with its CSR policy!
Some ecological tips for printing:
- Print what you need.
- Avoid “colour” printing if possible.
- Use two-sided printing and use the multi-page printing mode.
- Turn off the printer when you leave the office.
- If you print – use the ECOFONT.
