World Paper Free Day
06 November 2019
The World Paper Free Day is an annual campaign that encourages companies to reduce the amount of paper, not only for environmental reasons, but also for financial reasons. An initiative launched by the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) that highlights the benefits of paperless management:
Before a paperless office, let’s start with less paper!
The first step to a paperless office – scanning – indexing and using a document management system. Organisations need to “turn off the tap” of paper flows starting, for example, with the scanning of the mailroom!
In 2020, Labgroup will be moving to a new building located in the ZARO activities zone in Grass and currently under construction and will incorporate all your paper, digital or natively electronic archives. A site dedicated to the digital transition and the primary, secondary & legal storage, unique in Luxembourg.
This innovative and modern “hub”, composed of the new Document Management Centre and the two datacentres, enables the company to offer the complete range of digital services 360° with the help of its digital transition consultants.
With the European regulation for Electronic Identification and Trust Services for Electronic Transactions (eIDAS) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulation, the European Union has created a favourable environment for the digitisation of businesses while ensuring the protection of the personal data of its citizens. Luxembourg, pursuing its goal of becoming a “digital nation”, has legislated an innovative way on electronic archiving and instituted a certification of trusted service providers for dematerialisation and preservation (PSDC).
